Since our entrance, we have set up three joint ventures in China:

• Shanghai Behr Thermal Systems Co Ltd (SBTS) - a 50:50 JV with Shanghai Sanden Behr Automotive Air Conditioning Co Ltd (SSB) — is supplying HVAC modules and engine cooling components for cars.
• Shanghai Sanden Behr Automotive Air Conditioning Co Ltd (SSB), is engaged in the development, manufacture, and distribution of refrigerant compressors and receiver driers for HVAC modules (Shanghai Automotive 38.5%, Sanden Corporation 35%, Behr 17,5 %, Shanghai Longhua Industrial Co Ltd 9%).
• Dongfeng Behr Thermal Systems Co Ltd (DBTS) is a 50:50 JV with Dongfeng Motor Co Ltd (DFL), one of China's largest truck manufacturers. It focuses on developing and manufacturing aluminum and copper-brass heat exchangers, HVAC modules and Visco: clutches for trucks and passenger cars.
  
  As a result of these JVs, Behr together with its JV-partners employs approximately 2,500 people in China and is active in all key segments of the market. We are also in a position to manufacture and distribute our entire product portfolio in the world's fastest growing auto market.
  
  Our JVs, which are located in Hubei province and Shanghai, have been built with capacity to expand. SBTS has built a new plant in Shanghai recently and moved into it in October 2005. As for DBTS, new production facilities were also put to use in Wuhan in January 2006.
  
  Behr's products can be found in the world's most famous and prestigious automotive brands including the Audi, BMW, Chrysler, Citroen, Dodge, GM, Mercedes Benz, Peugeot, Renault and VW. In addition, Maybach and Rolls Royce - two of the world's most luxurious cars - use also Behr HVAC modules.
  
  Our JV model in China enables us to offer the best of both worlds. We can manufacture and deliver locally, while guaranteeing that our products comply with the same international quality standards that are synonymous with the Behr brand.
  
  With more than 100 years of experience in air conditioning and engine cooling for the auto industry, Behr is well prepared to serve our customers in China as they take advantage of the market opportunities.
